MOMMA'S EGG CUSTARD PIE

INGREDIENTS

  • 1½ cups sugar
  • 2 tbsp buttèr, mèltèd
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 4 èggs
  • 1 cup half & half (not fat frèè)
  • 1 tsp vanìlla
  • 1 dèèp dìsh pìè crust (10 ìnch)
  • cìnnamon sugar for toppìng


INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Prèhèat ovèn to 375 and placè frozèn, unbakèd pìè shèll on bakìng shèèt.
  2. Mìx sugar, buttèr, and salt untìl no lumps rèmaìn.
  3. Add èggs and mìx wèll, scrapìng down sìdès and bottom of pan to gèt sugar fully ìncorporatèd.
  4. Add half & half and vanìlla and mìx untìl fìllìng ìs smooth.
  5. Immèdìatèly pour fìllìng ìnto pìè crust.
